Det René mener er at du ikke mener det sker automatisk.
Din vægtafgift falder til 25 % HELT automatisk når bilen fylder 35 år
Herefter KAN du veteranregistrere den, så den først skal synes som 40 årig og derefter hver 8'ende år, men det er frivilligt.

Ehh René? 25% of the full amount is not the same as getting the price lowered to 25%??
I didn't write 25% off of the price - I wrote 25% of the price as in 1/4 of the original amount as in lowered to 25%.

Mette is wrong, the vægtafgift gets lowered to 25 % when the bus hits 35years, høj dont have to dø anything.
Numberplates; og you take off the plates now, you vil save the vægtafgift, for half a year (1880kr if its the same as mine), but, then you have to but new ones in the spring for 1200kr.. I would leave them on

If the bus is from ´78 , it can not be registred with black plates.
Black registration plates ended april 1st 1976.

Gav, what plates do you have on your bus? If they are the orignal black plates with white lettering then i would not remove them as they increase the value of your vehicle plus they are expensive to replace and modern plates on old vehicles look crap (my opinion) . Hi Gav,

If you have classic car insurance on your bus through any of the known classic car insurance companies (eg. Runa, Nordisk Veteran, Thisted etc), the amount saved by cancelling your registration and paying for new plates and re-registration next spring should pretty more equal each other out.
Classic car insurance already takes into consideration that the car isn't driven from Nov 15th-March 15th.
Vægtafgift on a classic car (35 yrs) is 25% of vægtafgiften on a none classic car. How ever if I remember correctly this is not an automated process and you have to go get your car registered as a classic car to obtain the lowered vægtaftgift.
