After some time off from Vws doing a ford Escort Mk2 and a Mini clubman 1275 gt.. I am back with a Vw Engine build..After a 1776 and a 2110 and then a 2275cc,this Engine made 141 bhp
and 273NM..and in Roadrunners buggy...

After thinking about it its going to be a type 1 build...They size matters and as its going to be a 2165cc Engine...This time...

Parts in...

Scat 78mm flanged crank and flywheel,Pauter rods,94mm Mahle pistons,Vw crankcase as41 from John Maher Racing with phosphor bronze sleeves,10mm head subs. The inside, cutting, decking, and filled in behind No 3. I will take care my self..Because I can...

This well give me a bottom end that can take 7500 rpm all day long..or more...very practical with good cost considerations...and will give me a wide choice of cam,,heads.carbs, depending on the..end build

Cam,heads, carbs that are still on the shoping list...but this is no race engine but with
need for hi rpms and shifting at about 55-6000 rpm..a steet-strip Engine..

All moving parts dynamically balanced...

This set up should be all most be all most bullrtproof..
