Web Cam Contest - Motor Kaboom

What is wrong with the my motor contest !
You can win a web cam at no charge, contest is today only, results in a week or two. I will even pay the postage to you. Now the story and contest.
Last night finished the garage for the 57 oval, parked it and decided to celebrate, so we cranked up the 56 Oval and decided a tur to Tivoli sounded good. We got as far as Ring Vej 4 i Ballerup and the motor was went Klunk Klunk, bop bop boom !! Hmmm, drove over to the side, seemed like muffler came loose, but cound not see without a light, drove farther, and klunkitie klunkite klunk, klunk and a few more metal sounding sounds. Motor still ran, no oil light, no lose in power. So we parked the car at a friends house and do not know what is wrong yet.
But now we see oil leaking from the one side of the motor. YUCK !
So before we check out the car, you can have 1 guess each what you think went wrong with the motor and in case of a tie breaker, you can also guess how much it will cost me to have repaired.

Answers like, what went wrong, that are not accepted are below ! ;.)
An american was driving,
You had your wife with,
It is not a Rat,
You talked about getting FDM in the car the same night,
You drove it in the winter,
You were listening to Steppenwolf MP3 at the time,
etc.

So lets see who is the best to guess what went wrong with my VW.
P.S. The motor is a 1.6 motor, nothing else special with it.

I had a similar experience, the first time I took my 68 (VW) for a ride.
I'm not sure if a Dane and a Americam will give sounds the same "name"
but the sound that came from my engine was.
Weee Weeeee Weeeeee Weeeeeee Weeeeeeee (Like a Turbine)
followed by
Cloenckkk Cloenckkk Cloenckkk Cloenckkk.
The problem......
Very elementary my dear Watson..

The "Aircoolingfanhouserightsidemountingscrews" was missing
and the "Aircoolingfanhouseleftsidemountingscrews" was loose.
Therefore the "Aircoolingfanhouse" was jumping around making strange
sounds.

Hope you will find the failure.

My guess is a fåkd rod bearing...

ESP ! ? Naah, just seen a lot of those types of failiures. good thing the rest of the engine was salvage able.

Jeg lavede samme nummer med min 1500 i sommers.. Eneste forskel er at min ventil røg igennem stemplet og videre ind i kværnen, så stumperne fik en tur rundt i hele manegen..! :roll:

Men sådan går det jo. Det er vel metaltræthed der gør det tror jeg. Min motor var sku den originale til min bus, så den var 40 år gammel og havde garanteret rundet millionen (eller to), da den brugte de første 10 år af sit liv som taxa..!

OK, the real truth of what happened, This girl was driving her Citroen and drove right in front of me, she was chatting on a mobil and did not see me, can you believe that !! No control over her car, what a Bitxxx

It made me drop my burger, which spilled the cola setting on the floor, which hit the wife's legs while she was giving me a neck massage, then my cigarette dropped between my legs, then spread my legs to get it, accidently popped the Gene Berg into 2nd gear going 180 kph, and that is when it happened. Dont know why but it did ! heheheh

The real truth, shit happens !
