I was looking for a 21 or 23 for someone on here that has decided that this bus is not for him(name is not important privacy might be but who knows I will play it safe) so i will pass it along to whoever else wants to buy a piece of histiry and a hell of a solid bus too.
Ok rust free first of all.Or so close it does not matter.
It has for 70s modifications, steel fender flares
welded on ,bolt on chrome running boards ,wide wheels
custom made for this bus wheels say 8 to 10 inchs with
vw caps, 68 disc brake front end,901/915? porsche 5 speed in rear,2 litre bus engine rebuilt with dual 40s on it
500 just spent on head work 2 weeks ago.Nice hard wood
floors in rear, shag carper all over sides of inside
of bus,naugahyde brown 914 seats which slide and lean
back since the walkthru part of the bulkhead was removed,super nice
dash,with radio and cb radio mounted underneath, a
digital clock,all rubber was replaced at one time not
to long ago, the tires look new, the roof is solid as
hell rubber looks fantastic for original sunroof glass rubber.. its still shiny and flexible,nose is super nice
and I saw pics of the bus before and after.It has a/c and
a 914 heater system in it.The belly pans are solid as
hell. Interior is trimed out very accordingly with brown and gold
and tan curtions with hawiian prints palm trees and
surfboards, even made curtains and curtain rods for
the sunroof glass.This bitch is full tilt show car
form the 70s.. I did not have my camera naturally the
one timee i wanted some pics of something.. oh well
so i went back and got these and the permission to sell it for him.I will probably buy this if no one else wants it as they are so rare.
price is upon asking and is very fair , very fair..I think anyways no samba/ebay price here..
just think if you want a stock one , jerk tranny swap beam(i can supply parts)
and cut fender flares off and redo them with more parts i can get you,then fix te rest of it the way you want and presto and super oh my god solid 21 window cheaper than you could ever think of buying one.
