Hej

I am soon buying a Vw Variant and have enquired about insurance with Alm. Brand who tell me they cannot insure it as a veteran car since it is my only car, can anyone recommend any other insurers who might (it will only be used weekends and will be garaged)

If not any ideas how having a regular insurance policy will affect the price and will it still be registered / taxed as a veteran and only tested every 8 years?

Any help / advice is much appreciated (apologies for my lack of danish, I am learning, det er langsom)

MVH

Hi Adam

The policy for veteran insurance is that you need to have a second car, as far as I know that goes for all insurance companies that offers veteran insurance.

The insurance does not affect the the registration fee/taxes nor does it affect the 8 years between testing. That is solely based on age.
