Laser engraving technology:
During laser engraving we can visualize the desired pictures or text using high power, CO2 laser. The computer-controlled engraving machine's laserhead scans the surface of the product and vaporizes the very top layers where necessary, according to the desired image. The focus point of this machine is smaller than a millimeter, thanks to this, the evolving pictures are very detailed. The deepness can be controlled by precisely adjusting the laser's power.
The root of laser engraving is the efficiency at which the light hitting the surface transforms into heat, thus different materials can be engraved with more or less success. Non-reflective sufaces like wood and different plastics give perfect results.
Our laser engraving system works in rasterized mode, which means the laserhead goes line by line through the desired engraving surface, and it forms the pictures point by point with laser impulses, just like the inkjet printer's printing head works. So thanks to laser engraving any desired image file now can be engraved, without the need of any conversion, "vectorization". This made the way to photo engraving.
3D laser engraving is a special method, which enables us to form pictures or different types of three dimensional shapes into crystal glasses. This made possible by the improvement of Nd:YAG laser-technology. The laser beam gets through the wall of the glass and at a defined point it changes the structure of the glass by creating microcracks. The picture is being built up by thousands of cracks like that. Now at
