Well i did it again I got a deal on a cool rare car and can pass it along to you guys at a good price .
I bought a clean 912 porsche 1968 its porsche guards red now ,but was originally a dark green car.
I can post pics after i post this and see if I can get them up.The car is VERY solid and shows no signs of being in a accident that I can see. The rust is very very minimal especially for old porsches. The floor areas behind the seats on one side is a little soft but still intact. There looks like theres some bad paint work or maybe some bondo( i do not think so though) on the upper left quarter panel up high ? Weird but i felt up inside the very dry quarter panel inside with my bare hands and feel no damage? weird.. anyways the motor I have not checked yet i do have the title and the keys i do not have ,So starting it is not a option yet.I have not even checked to see if it will turn through by hand but i assume it will as it was being driven when parked. The reason it was parked was he could not get the carbs syncked right. There are few people here in texas that can do that correctly and i guess he did not have the time patience or money to find one of them. The interior is all original and in pretty good shape atually. I cleaned it up a lot scrubbed it alittle and polished the glass,it has also been buffed out and has been waxed not that is matters paint is not the cars strong point. I will post pics and the price will be 6000 usd and shipping right now is about 1000 i was told (thats sooooo cheap) its half of what it has been, making this car a sweet deal.. prices reflected here as of now with xe.com
