  My 78 Colorado Westfalia

My new westy is due here end of January, its 2 owners from new, last owner was an 84 yr old lady who stuck it away in a garage when she stopped driving last year. Its been sat for a year or so, so will need some wake up work when it arrives. The interior is mint, comes with a bunch of paperwork incl all the OG service books, OG bill of sale etc

Plans are to tidy it up externally, a good polish should do i hope, and get the engine running, will also need a new poptop fitting i think

Well finally got them back to mine. No battery on it atm, so new battery and fresh fuel and i will find out how she runs. Gave her a wash and scrubbed the pop top as best as i could. Its gonna need an inner wheel arch patch on 1 side, and a small patch the other side, and a few new seals and a replacement canvas.

Came with OG bill of sale, owners books and receipts that will fill a shoes box, and a map of the USA that shows a few cross country trips with all the places visited marked :cool
