quaife test motor. 94x84=2332cc, 5.5" porsche journal Bugpack rods and crank, old german mag case with all mach work done by Rimco, bored,stroked,full flowed,sand sealed, power pulley, 14lb flywheel, 2100lb Kennedy clutch,cush lock disc, all balanced, chrome moly 8mm head studs, mahle pistons,stock rings, 1-1/2qt sump,shadec 26mm oil pump,Empi iron FF cover, 120 Engle cam with 36HP gears and 1.25 rockers, (295 x .499") thin wall chrome moly pushrods, stock VW 040 heads with 40x 35.5 valves, dual springs,Ti retainers,ported by Jeff Denham to perfection, Manifolds matched , 48 IDF carbs with air cleaners, 1 5/8s four tuned merged header into 2-1/2" Dyno max superturbo muff, All tin powdercoated gloss black except alt plate which was hammer tone silver/grey,yellow plug wires,bosch red coil, 009 distr with perlux point pick up, stock fuel pump. This motor pulled from 3000 to 7000 and drove like a dream. It would pull my black 61 bug into the 13s with a stock trans and got 25MPG on the hiway. It was a great motor that i still own altho It has been pulled completely apart at the moment because I thought I was going to make it better ...But instead the poor thing got ignored Oh well . It went about 40,000 miles in its first incarnation. It could have went many more. Hope I didn't leave anything out
