Well its 2006, deadline Maj 1 2006, and the work has started.
Stripped most of the bug, ready to lift the top off next week and send to painter soon. They bund til sandblæsning, etc, etc, etc.
Replaced all 4 fenders. Also only found 1 bad rust area where there was some bondo done. Dennis will fix that area next week.
Some very small rust holes found under battery and behind one fender in the back, otherwise no other areas.
All Chrome til Chroma on mandag.

And here is the final design for the paint. The blue is not the correct color on the picture. Reason for the color combination was to match the original blue custom interior that was done in 1986 by the Wheels Project Team.

New Airkewld Rat from USA installed for a pretest for looks.
Side door redone and bug almost ready for transport to Niels Erik for painting this coming torsdag. Color and style has been changed a little but we will now keep that secret until later. Still blå and hvid, just kind of a different swing on things.
