det må siges at være en rimelig pris hvis man køber HELE pakken.
Or 50 or 60, or even 70 hp out of your 1200 T1 engine. Sure, its possible, although especially the last one requires a substantial pile of parts to do so.
This line of combinations have been thought out, (and some of them more or less copied by how it was done 35 years ago, and refined a bit) because there are still surfacing very low hours/miles fire pump engines, which is a great way to get your hands on an almost new factory engine. But some of you kinda like just a little more power than the wimpy 34 hp. it comes with. So that you are able to follow the traffic, also when the asphalt goes up a hill. OR want to build it the way they did then.
You bring me such a low mileage 1200 cc. engine. And I will suck it in, chew on it and spit it out again. By then it will have gotten a minimum of: A balance job,( which is very important when you begin to rev the engine higher than it was supposed to from the factory. And they were not all that nice balanced from the factory) new camshaft, massaged cylinder heads and different rockers. (The more powerfull versions get more hardware) But still, even the 44 hp version will pull more torque than a stock dual port 1300 cc will ever do. It will increase your real top speed from 73 mph. to over 80 mph. It will have approx. 15% more hill power between 2500 & 4000 rpm. That is very noticeable when you drive.
Unfortunately I do not have a dyno sheet available right now of a 44 hp 1200 to show you right now, but I know that I am going to chew on one in late may. By mid June I can show you hard facts on that one too.
However, I do have an oold dyno sheet from the mid 90íes or so, of a 60 hp twin carb 1200 cc. T1. It is a bit vague, but if you look closely you will see a nice and even curve. You will also see that it pulls 40 hp @ 3000 rpm, which is more than the stock 1200 ever pulls.
If you deliver such a complete engine, the charge for such a modification (Step 1) is
Dkr. 7950.- If you deliver it as a longblock and can mount the cool tin etc. yourself, you can save some money.
For the other versions ask. Some of them depend heavily on availability of parts.
