I should have received order nr 3009095, but we have had some problems with DPD transport services. We have attempted to collect the package twice but on both occasions we were told no-one was home despite personnel being at the address. When we rang to DPD my Father-in-law was called an old idiot and my girlfriend was told to shut the f--- up. We do not find that kind of treatment acceptable, and therefore I rang to DPD to speak to the team leader Lise Bodin (DPD customer service)who regretted the treatment but could not take action because the package had already been sent return. She informed us that she will credit us for the freight costs, but because you are a foreign freight company, she could not go in and credit us fo´r that element. She asked us to contact yourselves in order to try and find a solution, she agrred that we may use her name in the correspondence.
We still wish to receive the package but don´t wish to pay for the freight again seeing as it is DPD who are 100% to blame for the mix up.
So, my questions are:
Who is responsible for the freight costs in these circumstances, and also; how can we be treated in this way?
